The nature of the site requires all persons to be self sufficient. The cooking facilities in the clubhouse are for use at advertised club events run by the committee, such as Open Days
Each person must sign in every day including each morning when staying over. This is for insurance purposes.
Replacement gas bottles are available from Holgates Holiday Park, Middlebarrow Plain, Cove Road ,Silverdale, Near Carnforth, Lancashire, LA5 0SH, Tel : 01524 701508
Lawns are maintained by the committee. We try to keep a “no noise after midday” rule, however mowing is sometimes needed in an afternoon.

Chimera – Please bring BBQ coals if you wish to use the chimera. Some logs are (usually) kept alongside for anyone’s use. You can also gather and collect fallen branches from the woodland floor to burn, but no trees or branches are to be cut down.

Fire – Please use off the ground fire pits to prevent damage to lawns. Please observe fire precautions, we recommend a personal fire extinguisher. Branches can be gathered from the woodland floor, see above. There are also various wood piles around the site from coppicing which you can use.
White tables and chairs for general use will be found in the clubhouse (accessible when a member is present). Please clean and return after use. Picnic tables are always accessible on the lawns. Feel free to move to suit your needs. A selection of deckchairs etc marked with MBNC will be found in the shed which anyone may use (accessible when a member is on site).

Please take all rubbish home as we have no facilities to dispose of it.
Grey waste water can be disposed of in the hedgerows within reason. If possible, toilet water should go home with you, but if it needs to be emptied before departure please ask a committee member where you can dispose of it safely.

Camping is permitted in any of the clearings and your vehicle can remain on your pitch. Overflow camping is on the top lawn beyond the clubhouse.
Please remember no vehicles on the top lawn except disabled visitors, please check with the committee.
The communal area (in front of the clubhouse) is not used for camping
