If you are new to naturism or maybe you are a bit apprehensive about taking your foreign holiday ‘skinny dipping’ experience a step further, a good place to start is by having a look at the websites of British Naturism. You will find advice on their site and information about clubs and swimming venues throughout the UK.
North West Naturists
A monthly swim-based club. A small group of friends who all share an interest in naturism who get together on a regular basis and meet at the refurbished Worsley Pool Complex, Walkden Manchester, on Saturday afternoons (see their meetings page for full list of swim dates and times)
Blackpool and Fylde Sun Club
A friendly club who meet each month, their main swim being at the Poulton-le-Fylde swimming centre on the first Saturday of the month.
Naturist Swim at Wigton Baths
On the 2nd Saturday of each month beginning 10th November until Jan 2019. 14.00-16.00. Only £5 per person. Following the second successful GBSD at Wigton baths, the management have agreed to trialling a monthly swim
Lakeland Outdoor Club
Lakeland Outdoor Club’s naturist site is located near Millom on the West Cumbrian Coast. Situated near the Lake District National Park, the secluded location gives it a relaxed, informal atmosphere, great for a quiet time camping or caravanning, or even a day’s visit.
Solway Sun Club
A friendly member run naturist club located near Carlisle
was a website with a lot of links to clubs etc but appears to be dormant (last updated 2011)
World Naked Bike Ride
A peaceful, imaginative and fun protest against oil dependency and car culture. A celebration of the bicycle and also a celebration of the power and individuality of the human body. A symbol of the vulnerability of the cyclist in traffic. The world’s biggest naked protest: 50+ cities and thousands of riders participate worldwide, including around 3,000 in the UK each year.

Naturism and the law
