A lovely sunny day with wall to wall blue skies.
The only downside: having to mow the lawns, but it was worth it.
Our present chairman is currently incapacitated following a fall. At the committee meeting on 10/06/17, Martin was co-opted and will take over the role of Chairman until the AGM in September. He can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org
3rd June and only a week to go to our Open Day on 10 June 2017 so it was time to check all was in order!
We arrived at Silverglades mid morning to find another couple already on site, having camped the night before. Soon after we were joined by a 3rd couple and one of our singles making 7 all told. The weather was gloriously warm and sunny and the site was looking gorgeous thanks to the kind person who had cut the lawns in the camping glades, and created narrow paths elsewhere.
Wandering around, I spotted the first strawberries of the summer, ready to eat!
Let’s hope the good weather holds until next weekend!
I was just about to leave Silverglades when I spotted 4 Roe deer in the woods…..
Although the forecast for today was cloudy with occasional rain, the afternoon turned out to be sunny! This image is of one of the paths through the woods leading to one of the glades which can be used for camping.
We had 7 MBNC members on site today, with at least 2 camping. Let’s hope the weather holds for tomorrow!
